Royal Blue Services’ biggest client, BH Xpress (BHX), is a logistics company, specializing in freight expediting with Cargo Vans. BHX is a logistics company based out of St Louis, MO with 100 vehicles and drivers in their fleet and provides freight expediting services throughout the entire USA and Canada. This job opening is for a dispatcher for BH Xpress.

You would be employed by Royal Blue Services, working out of our Sarajevo office, performing services for (and on behalf of) BH Xpress.

The job of a dispatcher is fast-paced and exciting, as you will be booking different loads, with different scenarios, at different rates every day.

Responsibilities:

  • Build meaningful relationships with customers
  • Build meaningful relationships with drivers
  • Monitor available loads and decide which loads to pursue and attempt to book
  • As the only person on the shift, ensure everything goes smoothly during the night.
  • Overcome drivers’ objections or complaints
  • Follow up on bids with email communication and phone calls to customers
  • Handle calls from irate drivers and customers using various customer service strategies

Qualifications:

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Must have good negotiation skills
  • Must be able to make critical decisions quickly
  • Must be able to navigate and handle difficult conversations with angry drivers and customers
  • Ability to multitask well in a fast-paced atmosphere
  • Desire to have performance evaluated and eagerness to receive feedback on what was done well, what can be improved, and how to improve it
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written, clearly and concisely

HOURS:

    • Monday: 6 AM – 2 PM
    • Tuesday: 2 AM – 12 PM
    • Wednesday: 2 AM – 12 PM
    • Thursday: 2 AM – 12 PM
    • Friday: 2 AM – 12 PM
