Position Overview
Royal Blue Services is seeking a full-time Recruiter to join our Sarajevo team. This position plays a key role in screening and onboarding cargo van owner-operators for our over-the-road (OTR) operations across North America for BHX Logistics.
You will receive structured training and tools — but success in this role depends on your ability to assess people, navigate ambiguity, and make fast, accurate decisions. Many applicants will express interest without fully understanding the commitment OTR work requires. The recruiter’s job is not only to inform, but to identify genuine alignment and screen out poor fits efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Screening Calls: Review inbound leads and determine whether they meet core driver criteria.
- Assess Fit Accurately: Evaluate responses for clarity, consistency, and realism — and adapt your approach accordingly.
- Identify Red Flags: Use critical questioning to uncover concerns that may not appear in the initial answers.
- Explain Role Expectations: Clearly present dispatch structure, earning range, time away from home, and lifestyle demands.
- Manage Onboarding Tasks: Collect insurance documents, ID, background checks, and arrange for decals or drug tests.
- Track Candidate Progress: Maintain notes and status updates across multiple leads simultaneously.
- Coordinate with Team: Work closely with your recruiting manager to ensure alignment on standards and strategy.
Requirements
- English Fluency: Full professional command of both spoken and written English is required.
- On-Site Presence: This role is located in Sarajevo and requires in-person attendance daily.
- Communication Skills: Able to lead structured interviews and adjust tone appropriately.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Docs, and team chat tools.
- Independent Judgment: Can make timely decisions without over-relying on scripts or templates.
- Attention to Detail: Organized and accurate when handling documentation and follow-up steps.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant Experience: Recruiting, dispatching, customer service, or phone-based sales.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of trucking, logistics, or cargo van operations is helpful but not required.
